Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
With 2,500 acres of groomed slopes, bowls, glades, backcountry trails, steeps and deeps combined with the backdrop of the imposing Teton Mountains, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is the ultimate destination for skiers and outdoor enthusiasts all year. Jackson Hole has cranked it up for the '08-'09 season with the completion the first of two Aerial Tram cars. It's capable of carrying 100 passengers 4,139 vertical feet in nine minutes, cresting the Tetons to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain. And when you're all done playing on the mountain, make sure to treat yourself with apres ski, dinner and entertainment in Teton Village.

Snow King Resort
Way back in 1939, the first ski area in Wyoming opened just six blocks from the Jackson town square and the city never looked back. With easy access to the mountain, the legendary Snow King Resort still offers a total mountain experience with alpine, telemark and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, tubing and more. There's also an indoor ice skating rink, restaurants, shops, and Jackson ski-in/ski-out lodging.

Grand Targhee Resort
Grand Targhee is located on the other side of the Tetons (west slope) and is one of the most impressive ski resorts in the country, with two mountains, more than 2,000 acres and 500 inches of snow each winter. The groomed runs, open powder bowls and glades combined with mountain village amenities, ski-in/ski-out lodging and daily transportation from Jackson and Teton Village, make this a must-experience destination. Grand Targhee is located in Alta, Wyoming about 75 minutes from Jackson, but well worth the trip.
