With the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Grand Teton National Park, the National Elk Refuge, the Snake River, the Teton Wilderness and Yellowstone National Park nearby, there are countless activities and events all year. - Hot Springs -- Try Granite Hot Springs situated in the Gros Ventre Wilderness within the Bridger-Teton National Forest (about 20 miles south east of Jackson). The pool there is perfect for soaking in. The locals like Astoria Hot Springs which is 17 mile south of Jackson on Highway 89. You could also try Kelly Warm Springs, about 10 miles north of Jackson.
